What condition does the clothing need to be in?

They can be in any condition. That's the magic of this! Worn, washed, and loved is part of what makes each piece what it is. As long as the fabric has parts that are largely intact, it can be woven.

Do I get my clothing back?

Because the clothing is cut and woven into the piece, it cannot be returned in its original form. The piece itself is what comes back to you.

How do I send my clothing?

Once your commission spot is confirmed, you'll receive a detailed email with everything you need to know. In the meantime, here's what to expect.

You'll pack your clothing in a sturdy box and ship it to us via a tracked service. We recommend insured shipping, as these are irreplaceable pieces and we want to make sure they arrive safely. Once your clothing is in our hands, we'll take it from there.

There's no special kit or mailer needed. A box or padded envelop for packing and a tracked label is all it takes to get started.Full instructions, our address, and any other details specific to your piece will be included in your confirmation email once your spot is secured.

How will my finished piece be shipped back to me?

Your finished piece is packaged with the same care that went into making it. Once complete, it is carefully wrapped and shipped back to you via a tracked service, so you can follow it home.

Full shipping details and an estimated delivery window will be confirmed when your piece is nearing completion. You won't be left wondering where it is.

How is it displayed?

Each piece is finished and ready to hang. It arrives strung on a hand-selected wooden dowel, suspended from 100% natural cotton twine, a quiet, considered presentation that lets the textile speak for itself. No framing required, nothing to source or assemble. It arrives ready to find its place on your wall.

Will I lose my place if I miss a notification?

No. If a round opens and you're not ready, you stay on the waitlist for the next one.
